I never dreamed a place like this could even exist. I literally teared up, overwhelmed by the beauty. It was an experience of a lifetime.

As experienced world travelers we usually put in about 25 hours of travel planning. A couple hours of interactive planning with Paul literally saved us at least 20 hours of planning. With two kids and a busy schedule, it was a God-send. The amount of knowledge he had and the personalized itinerary he crafted with us using maps and virtual meetings pointed us to places we hadn’t even considered! The whole process was like going to an interesting seminar on Italy.

This was my first trip to Italy. When considering Italy, I thought of only Rome, Florence, and Venice. Travelista’s itinerary, sent us far outside these cities into areas I didn’t even know existed, while still seeing the major sites of the big cities. In all honesty, the big cities are a circus, there are just so many tourists. But the towns we saw outside the city were breath-taking! The farms, and the families that run them were an unexpected treat. I left feeling like I made friends instead of just being a tourist. My fondest memory is probably at Agriturismo il Bastione in Spello. At sunset, looking out from the agriturismo at the Umbrian valley below, I never dreamed a place like this could even exist. I literally teared up, overwhelmed by the beauty. It was an experience of a life time.

I’ve used Travelista Italia forever! They planned my first trip to Italy with me. Honestly, I knew nothing about Italy before our first encounter and just when I think I know everything there is to know, they create an Itinerary that blows my mind. One of the best things about Travelista is the interactive education service. Paul started from ancient Egypt and worked his way up to Greece, Rome, through the Renaissance. I had no idea how connected everything was. It was so interesting how he explained everything and the examples he used made history come alive. Without Travelista Italia, I would have missed out on so much. A big thanks to them!

On our travels, our family of four tends to enjoy a balance of the bustle of larger cities and the solitude of the countryside. Paul was able to take this into account as we honed our trip to Tuscany with him by developing an itinerary that brought us the art and culture of Florence and Rome as well as the serenity of rural Tuscany. Where you sleep and what you eat can make or break a trip. Having Paul’s insight into unique restaurants and bed and breakfasts ensured that we had the best of both. Paul’s knowledge also allowed us to sidestep the onslaught of information on the Internet and maximize our time in Italy by avoiding sites that wouldn’t fit our teenagers’ unique interests, sign on with reputable tour companies, and learn about the details that could make our days more enjoyable
