Driving through Italy? Don't forget to do this!

Most people have fantastical visions of driving through Tuscany in a convertible, wind blowing through their hair in the warm Tuscan sun, visiting wineries and quaint towns on the way, and maybe meeting and irresistibly attractive Italian named Marco, or Alessia.

While this is not that far off from the truth, your Italian Paradise can be ruined by failing to do this one thing:

PLANNING FOR PARKING.

Yes, most of the small towns in Italy are car free zones near the historic center and you might find yourself stressed out looking for parking along narrow streets, turning your Italian fantasy into a traumatic afternoon in Manhattan!

Make sure you have at least 2 parking locations mapped out and ready to go (just in case one is full). Make sure you know, generally how you’d get to each one too. We find google maps and street view are excellent tools to help.
